Central Coast Event’s premiere venue, the Monterey Beach House, is known for its Classic Californian Beach Party. We rope off the sand and create a personal waterfront party equipped with palm trees, tiki torches and cool Adirondack chairs, surrounding gigantic bonfires ready for s’mores. With a mouthwatering selection to choose from, we offer a served buffet or action stations placed throughout the beach house and along the deck for a bite of something different everywhere you go. The Monterey Beach House is dancefloor ready but our amazing sound system blasts right over the crashing waves and we party all night with our toes in the sand. Having an exciting Beach Party with Central Coast Events at the Monterey Beach House includes a permitted indoor/outdoor beach facility for a party of 30 or more. The inside of the Beach House can accommodate up to 200 seated and set-up includes Tables, Chairs, House Linens and Biodegradable/Compostable Tableware. Our indoor games include Pool, Foosball, and Ping Pong for some competitive entertainment. Beach Volleyball and/or Beach Bocce Ball are some of our favorite to have set and ready for fun!

We have incredible venues to choose from and share with you our knowledge of beautiful locations on the Peninsula to fit your vision, number of guests and budget. Planning a party is our profession, key logistics and design details is our passion. Staying affordable requires balancing the dream with the budget. Grapes of Wrath listens to your every idea and we coordinate the entire event to your personal style and preference. We create a cohesive timeline, contract all your needed vendors by offering assistance in selecting your linen, china, flatware, glassware, chairs, tables, lighting, tenting and beyond!
As one of the last standing buildings on the beautiful Del Monte State Beach, the Monterey Beach House is fortunate to have a beautiful ocean view of one of the last remaining California beaches that permits bonfires! We host an incredible outdoor only event with tables, linens and chairs set alongside a cool effortless beach bonfire. Let us take care of all the hassle as we welcome you to be a guest at your own event. For a three hour time frame guests are able to bring in their own catering and non-alcoholic beverages or have us handle it all for you. Entertainment is always available and additions like Italian string lighting make an incredible atmosphere.

Access to events at the Monterey Beach House will be available two (2) hours prior to your event start time for a Beach Party and one (1) hour prior for a Bonfire. Access for Grapes of Wrath Events is dependent on permitting accessibility. Please speak with the venue directly for access information.

If you have assigned seating, all place cards used for event must be placed by group contact. Your seating chart information must be provided to Central Coast Events no less than (5) five days prior to event.
We may at any time upgrade or replace equipment/décor.
Monterey Beach House Events: Please note that Del Monte Beach is a public beach. Monterey Beach House cannot control access to the beach. Central Coast Events handles all beach permits required by the City of Monterey and will guarantee your space directly in front of the Monterey Beach House.
Central Coast Events is not responsible for setup of any décor. All décor should be completed by florist, decorator, friend, etc. All supplies required (scissors, tape, etc) should be brought and supplied by the group. No confetti, birdseed, rice or silk flowers sparklers or fireworks are permitted on the beach. All items must be removed at the end of the event. Central Coast Events is not responsible for any items left behind.
Existing Décor may not be removed without the consent of the Manager or Monitor. Additional event décor is welcome. No permanently affixing items or equipment (i.e. nails, screws, glue, etc.) is permitted. We recommend 3M removable adhesive hooks, zip ties and clear fishing line.

Central Coast Events must be notified of all linens, china, flatware, glassware or additional rental décor. Contact information for all vendors is appreciated.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Outside food is not permitted for events with Central Coast Events, unless written approval is provided by the Sales Director. No food can be removed from the Monterey Beach House.
Your final guest guarantee is due prior to your event and dependent on which division you are booked with. Once set, your guarantee cannot reduce. Guests will be counted again during the event. In the event that your guest count is higher than your latest guarantee, the event manager will notify you in person of the higher count. Your highest guest count will be reflected on your final invoice.
Grapes of Wrath: Your final guest guarantee will be due 10 days prior to your event.
Monterey Beach House: Your final guest guarantee will be due 5 days prior to your event.
Central Coast Events, LLC reserves the right to require insurance from client if they incorporate an activity which carries an elevated level of risk to the guests of the event or to the venue.
DEPOSIT & BILLING SCHEDULE
Deposits are based on contracted venue site rental and food and beverage minimum and due at the signing of the contract. The estimated final balance is due (30) thirty business days prior to the event.
